My story with design started before I even knew what to call it. At 12, I got my first computer and discovered design forums. Somewhere between curiosity and hours of exploration, I got into role-playing games… and something just clicked. Even if I couldn’t fully explain it back then, I understood that design was a way to build worlds, influence decisions, and, at its best, change behavior for the better.
That mix of curiosity, play, and analysis became the way I think. Today, I work in product with a focus on behavioral design, exploring how small nudges, mechanics, and design decisions can motivate people to move forward, stay engaged, and achieve their goals. I approach this from an ethical standpoint, understanding that influence also comes with responsibility.
I love traveling across Latin America and understanding how culture shapes the way people interact with products and systems. It keeps me grounded: design is not just about solving problems, but doing so in context and staying close to people. That’s why I genuinely enjoy learning what others are passionate about.
I’m analytical, but what defines me most is my empathy and the way I communicate ideas. I care about influencing change for the better, building healthier team dynamics and driving cultural shifts that truly matter, always thinking about the collective good.
Outside of work, my energy goes in a different direction: I’m an athlete and I practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I enjoy sports, challenges, and solving complex problems under pressure while staying composed when things get tough. Maybe that’s how I ended up in this industry. 😂
I also collaborate as a moderator with Lenia (owner) in the UXR Dom + LATAM community. One of my biggest motivations is to help grow research maturity in the region and support those who are just getting started.
I’m idealistic… I won’t deny it. But I don’t stay in ideas. I like to ground them, structure them, and make them happen. One of my goals is to gradually drive meaningful change in public services in my country, especially in the public budgeting sector, using behavioral and data-driven design to improve how systems work for both citizens and executing units.
